An angel in progress...

A work in progress, a 'sort of' commission. The red background will become gold wings. I need to find a suitable quote...something about rebirth, renewal I think. I will post pics when it's finished. Christmas is coming much too fast and I have too much to do and not enough time as always!

I love her pose -- she has a quiet dignity I like. BTW, guess what I got in the mail yesterday, all the way from OZ. . .! I haven't opened it yet, though. I'm saving it for Xmas.
Utterly baffled how you're getting that intricate scrollwork on the dress of the angel, I can't find a brush tiny enough to even get close.
